T. J. Walling Cabin

This original cabin from the mid-1800's was rescued from a tract of land in the eastern part of the county.

  • The T.J. Walling cabin was built in 1841 on land received from the Republic of Texas. The cabin authentically portrays the life of early settlers. The furnishings are antique and match a list of furnishings in the house in 1858.
