The Compton Community Center in southern Rusk County has a new roof thanks to the Rusk County Historical Foundation and the East Texas Communities Foundation.

The Rusk County Historical Commission recently received a gracious donation of three books. The three books are now part of the growing "School Collection" and available for viewing at the Dulin Archives.
